SJW donates around $250,000 per year to multiple local non-profits, community organizations, and other philanthropic entities delivering education and youth enrichment opportunities, human health services, and arts and culture. For several years, SJW has been included in the annual ranking of the Bay Area’s most generous businesses highlighting the company’s community support for organizations including Happy Hollow Park & Zoo, Martha’s Kitchen, Guadalupe River Park Conservancy, Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley, and the San Jose Public Library Foundation.
